I had the day off, so I jumped at the chance & bought a cheap seat, drove to the city (singing all the way) and could feel the anticipation rising as I got closer and closer...

My sister-in-law has seen Wicked twice and loves it! I started to read the book on which it's based, but only made it about 1/3 way through. Very dark (the novel), but I'm guessing the music makes the stage version more entertaining.
ReplyDeleteI started reading the book a few times and stopped a few chapters into it. I told my friend you really have to want to read it. Once Elphaba gets to Shiz it gets really good, though it is a bit of a slower read, a very good book!
